Industrialist Anand Mahindra is an active user of social media and frequently shares fascinating posts that pique the interest of netizens. Her recent post is also catching the eyes of social media users, which shows off the “latest technology” being used to dry clothes.

Mr Mahindra shared a post with a cartoon on Twitter on Friday which shows two women watching clothes drying on a line in the traditional way, with one saying: ‘He dries laundry using the latest technology – a combination of solar and wind energy.

Sharing his post, he wrote, “Sometimes ‘latest’ tech is just going back to basics.”

The post has racked up over 9,000 likes and hundreds of shares. Many users can be seen finding the post related to them.

“Sir, the so called technology has made us forget about our own traditional methods which are an easy and really hygienic way to dry clothes,” one user wrote in the comment box.

“All technologies are governed by fundamental bases, which never fail, these are the laws of nature,” said a second user.

In other Publishhe turned his attention to the ongoing political crisis in the UK, sharing a meme at 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister.

The snapshot depicts the exterior of the residence, which is adorned with dry mango leaves and a Swastika symbol (as a sign of celebration).

He captioned the photo: “The future of 10 Downing Street? Famous British humor is now mixed with Desi humor.”

The photo was shared on Tuesday and received more than 12,000 likes on Twitter.
